Vivid Picture No HD

The biggest thing that was a challenge for me reading Persepolis was the uses of black and white  for the coloring. Cause when you first read it through its hard to pick up on some of the details. But after the second and third time and with a little help from the discussions in class I now start to see that lack of color is what makes so many of the details so vivid. Being used to reading comics i was hung up on the pictures as apposed to the content but the beauty of a graphic novel is that it gives you more content to focus . So by the author making the picture in black in white it gave the reader a chance to see the content more vivid.
